Welcome to Middleton, Idaho
Located at the west end of the Treasure Valley and about 20 miles northwest of Boise, lies Middleton. Middleton is so named because when it was founded in 1863 it was midway between the city of Boise and Fort Boise near the mouth of the Boise River.
Middleton sits 2,990 feet above sea level and has four definite seasons with temperature ranges from the 20′s in the winter to the 90′s in the summer. Middleton receives an average of 11 inches of precipitation annually.
The Middleton Chamber of Commerce’s goal is to “come together for monthly programs, committees and annual events while promoting business, addressing issues of common concern and contributing to the larger Treasure Valley business community.”
The Middleton School District is comprised of 3 elementary schools, a Middle School and a High School.
